In 1981, Jani Mae became an instructor of photography at the Nevada Academy of Art & Technology. At the same time, she opened her own business, Jani Mae Photographers, Inc. Jani Mae was honored by the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce as a Woman of Achievement in Entrepreneurship in 1986-87. In 1992, she was recognized by the Professional Photographers of Nevada with two top awards Specializing in weddings, Jani Mae has studied with several national wedding leaders. She has attended San Diego University as well as West Coast School of Photography. Jani Mae has photographed more than 2,500 weddings during her career. She has also been one of the only Nevada photographers to attend the prestigious Wedding Photographers International Conference. |
